A leading automation technology company required a customised solution for differential pressure measurement for a new product range. Description

The developed solution is based on a Honeywell board-mounted pressure sensor integrated into a robust plastic enclosure. The sensor is equipped with hose connections at its pressure ports and features an LED status indicator that provides immediate visual feedback on the operating status.

Requirements

• Plug-and-play functionality: The sensor should be ready for use without additional configuration or programming.
• Environmental protection: The sensor had to be protected against dust, dirt, and moisture.
• Customized signal output: The signal output should be via a cable outlet with a connector specified by the customer.

Development process
