Honeywell 1865 Series
The 1865 series is a high-performance transducer designed specifically for the requirements of medical technology and special OEM applications. These products offer laser-assisted compensation and can be specified for operation with a constant current or voltage supply. These products use a piezoresistive solid-state pressure transducer in a plastic housing. For applications where force is applied to the sensor through a flexible membrane, such as in infusion pumps, the precise silicone membrane offers long life and is a reliable replacement for older force or load cell transducers. The use of a silicone rubber membrane makes this product compatible with some liquid media applications.
Functions
The 1865 series provides important safety functions for medical devices in intensive care, such as the detection of occlusion pressure or infiltration. The pressure data can provide medical staff with useful diagnostic information about the condition of a patient's circulatory system.
