Honeywell HPM Series
The Honeywell HPM series fine dust sensor is a laser-based sensor that detects and counts particles using light scattering. The concentration range is between 0 µg/m3 and 1,000 µg/m3.

Added value
- Enables more accurate and cost-effective monitoring or control of environmental particles
- Industry-leading 10-year lifespan in continuous use
- Proven EMC performance enables more accurate performance in a variety of harsh industrial environments
- Faster response time of <6 s enables the HPM series to respond to environmental conditions in real time
- Improved reliability for use in harsh environments

Execution
Also available with compact housing for space-saving installation
A laser light source illuminates a particle as it is drawn through the detection chamber. As the particles pass through the laser beam, the light is reflected by the particles and recorded on the photo or light detector. The light is then analyzed and converted into an electrical signal to calculate the particle concentration. The Honeywell particle sensor provides information about particle concentration for a specific concentration range.
