Honeywell Microforce FMA Series
The FMA series are piezoresistive force sensors that provide a digital output for reading measured values across the specified force and temperature range. They are fully calibrated and temperature-compensated for sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature effects, and non-linearity using an integrated application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC).

Functionality
Honeywell's piezoresistive MicroForce sensors are actuated by direct mechanical coupling via a stainless steel ball mounted directly above a silicon sense die. This system ensures repeatable and reliable mechanical coupling and allows for easy connection to a tube, diaphragm, or plunger.
