Honeywell TBF Series
Honeywell's TBF series force sensors are compact, flush-mounted diaphragm pressure sensors designed for applications where media compatibility is important. The TBF series features a precision-tested diaphragm, making these sensors particularly suitable for applications where force is applied to the sensor through a flexible diaphragm, such as infusion pumps. The sensor is internally unamplified, providing unlimited resolution and allowing the customer to apply their own amplification to take advantage of the maximum resolution of the bare sensor output and use any algorithm required for the application. The sensor is internally temperature compensated and calibrated.
Functions
Honeywell force sensors are typically used in infusion pumps to monitor and control the delivery of fluids, medications, or nutrients to patients. They are used in a non-invasive manner and do not require disinfection or sterilization before reuse.
- Monitoring the delivery of fluids, medications, or nutrients to patients
- Detecting blockages and determining when the bag of fluids or nutrients needs to be changed
