History of the partnership
The success story of IBA-Sensorik GmbH is closely linked to its long-standing partnership with Honeywell and begins with a clear vision. When company founder Karl-Heinz Ammon established the company in the early 1980s, he brought with him not only strong entrepreneurial drive, but also extensive experience from his previous work at Honeywell.
Even at that time, he recognised a key challenge faced by many customers: standard sensor designs were often unable to precisely meet the specific requirements of industry, medical technology or automation. This insight gave rise to a philosophy that continues to shape IBA-Sensorik today — providing customers with access to customised sensor technology based on Honeywell’s proven quality.
With this approach, IBA-Sensorik became an authorised distributor for Honeywell sensor technology right from the start.
