History of the partnership
The success story of IBA-Sensorik GmbH is inextricably linked to its long-standing partnership with Honeywell – and it begins with a clear vision: When company founder Karl-Heinz Ammon established the company in the early 1980s, he brought with him not only entrepreneurial pioneering spirit, but also in-depth experience from his previous work at Honeywell.
Even back then, he recognized a key problem faced by many customers: the standard sensor designs available were often insufficient to precisely meet the specific requirements of industry, medical technology, or automation. This insight gave rise to the philosophy that still shapes IBA-Sensorik today: to provide customers with access to customized sensor technology based on Honeywell's proven quality.
With this idea, IBA-Sensorik became an authorized distributor for Honeywell sensor technology right from the start.
