Honeywell BES LITE-Series
The BES-LITE enables early and reliable detection of thermal runaways in lithium-ion batteries used in battery energy storage systems (BESS).
Efficient and safe design
BES LITE uses simplified electronics for easy integration and minimal power consumption. Unlike other gas sensor technologies, the system does not require an internal heating element, making it ideal for explosion-proof environments and applications that require longer battery life.

Regardless of the battery type
The sensor is compatible with a wide range of lithium-ion battery formats, including prismatic, pouch and cylindrical cells, as well as various battery chemistries such as NMC, LFP, LTO and others.
It is designed for use in sealed and portable lithium-ion battery modules deployed in applications such as battery energy storage systems (BESS), UAM/UAV platforms, micro-mobility solutions, medical devices and light industrial equipment.
