Honeywell Microforce FMA Series
The FMA series are piezoresistive force sensors that provide a digital output for reading measured values across the specified force and temperature range. They are fully calibrated and temperature-compensated for sensor offset, sensitivity, temperature effects, and non-linearity using an integrated application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC).

Functionality
Honeywell’s piezoresistive MicroForce sensors are actuated through direct mechanical coupling using a stainless steel ball positioned directly above the silicon sensing die. This design ensures repeatable and reliable force transmission and allows straightforward coupling to components such as tubes, diaphragms or plungers.
