Honeywell PX3 Series
Honeywell's PX2 series heavy-duty pressure transducers are configurable pressure transducers with piezo-resistive sensor technology and signal processing via an integrated application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) in a brass housing.
Potential areas of application
- Industry: Refrigerant pressure monitoring in HVAC/R systems, process control and automation
- Air compressors: Inlet and outlet pressure, oil pressure
- Transportation: Monitoring of compressed air systems, hydraulic, brake, and engine oil pressure, brake pressure monitoring
Media compatibility
Compatible media include common HFC refrigerants such as R410A and R134A; next-generation refrigerants with low global warming potential (GWP) such as R448A (Solstice® N40), R32 and R1234ze; as well as motor oil, petroleum-based hydraulic fluids, DOT 3 brake fluid and dry air.
The PX3 Series is not recommended for use with aqueous media, saturated air (such as water vapour) or ammonia.
