Continuous measurement using ultrasound

Ultrasonic sensors offer a proven solution for non-contact, media-independent level measurement.

They are particularly well suited for applications in which other sensor technologies may not operate reliably due to dust, smoke or airborne particles.

Most ultrasonic sensors operate on the principle of time-of-flight measurement. The sensor emits an ultrasonic signal and measures the time it takes for the sound wave to travel to the target surface and back. This time is then converted into a distance value, enabling continuous and reliable level measurement at any time.
